About Me

I am a Mathematician.

Some of my Research Interests in the past and present include:
Dynamical systems; Nonlinear dynamics; Mathematical Biology;
Machine Learning;
Population Dynamics; Networks; Epidemiology; Vaccination Schemes;
Hamiltonian dynamics;
Resonances in near integrable Hamiltonian systems and instabilities;
Chaos; Strange attractors;
Bifurcations; Near integrable dynamics; Near Hamiltonian dynamics (slight dissipation);
Homoclinic tangles; Homoclinic bifurcations; Asymmetry perturbations;
Discrete Breathers (DB); Quantum DB and their applications;

Ph.D. - The Weizmann Institute Of Science, Rehovot, Israel, 2000.
Thesis: Parabolic resonances in Hamiltonian systems
Advisor: Prof. Vered Rom-Kedar
M.Sc. thesis (1996): The homoclinic tangle of slightly dissipative, forced, two dimensional systems
B.A. in Mathematics and in Fine Arts, University of Haifa, Israel, 1993.

At the beginning of the 21st century (2000-2004) I was a PostDoc at the Mathematics Institute, University of Warwick, Coventry, UK.
First, as a LOCNET Postdoctoral Research Fellow of Prof. Robert S. MacKay
and then as a Marie Curie Individual Research Fellow.
(LOCNET was a EC RTN on: Localisation by Nonlinearity and Spatial Discreteness, and Energy Transfer, in Crystals, Biomolecules and Josephson Arrays)

Then, I have spent some time researching and lecturing Bio-Maths (2005-2008), enjoying research on epidemiology, population networks and small world (and the world is small, I have checked), with Prof. Lewi Stone, at the Bio-Mathematics Unit at the Tel-Aviv University, Israel.

Currently I work at ViryaNet as Director of Performance Management; at the past I worked at two lovely start-ups, was engaged in mathematical algorithms and research & development in machine learning.

I am a part of a family including:Mom (me), Dad, two amazing Kids,
a Dog, a Cat, and some more Pets

On top of the mentioned above I also enjoy practicing Kan-Rei-Kai Karate and playing the flute.
